尊师重教 铭记师恩——热烈庆祝第37个教师节

金秋送爽、丹桂飘香，2021年的9月我们即将迎来第37个教师节！“尊师重教”是中华民族的传统美德。学校是孩子们的第二个家，老师是孩子的亲密家人也是其成长路上的指引者。孩子们每天与老师紧密沟通、积极互动、礼貌问候，对老师们充满了敬意和感恩，就是对老师们的关爱和教导最大的回馈！学生良好的行规表现、积极进取的学习态度、互助团结的友爱精神是对老师们辛勤付出最好的礼物！

教书育人、立德树人是每一位教师的责任和使命；仁爱奉献、廉洁自律更是每一位教师应有的素养和觉悟。我校全体教师时刻铭记师风师德新十条——严以律己、清廉从教，不收受学生及家长礼金、礼品或接受家长宴请；不借职务或工作之便谋取个人私利。感谢家长们的配合，也欢迎大家的监督。

Dear Parents,

This September 10th will be the 37th Teacher’s Day in China. We, as teachers, are proud to be the gardeners who nurture our young VSPers’ whole-person development. All VSP teachers are committed to supporting students’ holistic development by working closely and collaboratively with parents and families and by strictly following the Ten Principles of Teacher Code of Conduct for Shanghai Schools.

Respecting teachers and valuing education is part of the core value in Chinese culture. Parents’ gratefulness for teachers’ hard work and respect for the teaching profession is understandable and appreciated. However, we strongly recommend that parents show your appreciation to the teachers in a proper way by not giving ‘gratuities, gifts, favours, services, paid meals, trips and entertainment or items of value’ to teachers.

Let us all adults- parents and teachers model integrity and good personal conduct to our young VSPers and celebrate a sound 37th Teacher’s Day at VSP!
